Gyotaku artist Naoki and Las Vegas chef Wayne Miyahira learn how to catch black cod at depths of 1200 feet and deeper. Matt Sugai, co-owner and one of the captains at Anchor Point Lodge in Alaska, take the guys out to catch this prized fish, also known as "butter fish" to people in Hawaii.

A kit to detect the dreaded toxin ciguatera is demonstrated by Dr. Joanne Ebesu from Oceanit Laboratories.

And Mitch Taketa and Duane Fukumoto head out to the Big Island to compete in the Tokunaga Ulua Challenge.

Chef Cori Leon-Guerrero shares one of her own special recipes, "Caliquin Cakes", with Dave Lancaster. Lance Ohara shows us some useful dive accessories in Tackle Tips. And Mark Kimura gives us some precautionary advice about fuel systems in Boating Basics.
